From me to you....

Thanks for the lovely post today. Your advice was very life affirming!

That is quite a list. Hope I can do it justice ...

This post blew me away. It certainly pertains to me right now, and I'm not at a milestone year (38). Gosh, it was everything. I'm going to print it out and put it in my "happy corner".

I especially liked the learning to say no, and appreciating your partner-just appreciating. We are having a hard time, but I always appreciate that he is still here.

I'd like to send you something small. Can I have your address? Nicole (felt) If I knew how to give you a blog award I would. Okay, I"m gonna try to find out!

Hi! Your posts are very refreshing, and I love your photos. I recently turned 40, and this really hit home to me. These really are workds of wisdom. :-)

It is one of life’s little joys. Stops me from eating my young.

Now that is what I call a reasonable explanation.

Great, great list; I'm going to print it and keep it on my fridge for the next 22 years, and beyond. Thank you.
how sweet - thank you!
We are all the same under the skin aren't we!!
I didn't say that I had achieved them!

In 22 years I will be 72. I may need you to read me the list, for I expect I wont remember it by then!

I don;t know how you did it - but thank you for my award. The perfect 50th birthday gift! Thank you!
Hopefully, I'll have it memorized, if not realized by then. I apologize for the funny text size in above comment, not sure what happened.

Ain't nothin' wrong with 50! I'll be there myself in January. I'm celebrating with a trip to Disney World. I've never been there. My husband and several friends are going along. I made up my mind to do this on my 40th birthday (I needed something to top the party at Chuck E. Cheese I had that year). With any luck we'll all hang around long enough to celebrate 50 x 2!!

This is fantastic! Did you write it? I celebrated my 50th by performing with my bellydance troupe. I just turned 52 and am starting a business.

While the outside may be slowing down and falling apart, inside we are still 22.
I have found the "other side" of 50 to be fantastic. I think it is great to plan a big event, some sort of celebration, because it puts you in the right frame of mind. 50 years of life is something to celebrate achieving. I am going to live to be 102 - as soon as I tame some bad habits!

I was thinking about turning and 50 and then realised these are all the "rules" or values that I have lived by - I decided to put them into writing for my daughters and for anyone else who might care.

Yeah, we can still do what we did back then - it just takes longer to recover (and more money)!

LOL! How true. 8:-)
Ain't that the truth? I do less than half of what I used to do to get ready for the day - because I'm more comfortable with myself now - but it takes three times as long!
