in our hands, the waited-for

in our hands, the merciful
in our hands, the gentle.
It's in our hands, our daily actions
in our hands, our heads and hearts
in our hands, our consciences
in our hands, our conditions.

in our hands, our determination
in our hands, our way in.

Thanks for the comment on this new poem, I think Bjork's song is more powerful than my poem, but I'll keep trying...I'm so glad that Bjork is standing up for Tibet, she's a musician ahead of her time.
