Named after a phrase in my favourite Margaret Atwood novel, "Alias Grace", this song is a beautiful sadness set to music. Written for strings, piano, harp, clarinet, orchestral percussion, and of course, a musicbox. Composed in four movements (which accounts for its 8 minute timespan) and two time signatures. The 'big ending' contains elements from all four movements. More: http://michelle.museprint.com
